As a Senior Analyst, tell me a little bit about what you do for NEOS/our clients
I am a Senior Analyst on the Insurance Operations Excellence team, and I partner with clients to perform a variety of work around governance, process, and operations. I have spent a lot of time working with clients on optimizing partner relationships and ecosystems by identifying pain points and coming up with customized solutions based on the need. One of my favorite tasks is creating ecosystem visuals to help our clients to better understand who is responsible for each step in the process, where the handoffs are, and where there may be contingencies.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
Notebooks. I always have one close, and anyone who knows me knows that I am constantly writing everything down and making lists, so nothing gets missed. From weekly planners and yellow legal pads to post-it notes; I always have one on hand.
Which technology innovation has made the most impact on your life?
Streaming. I love TV and being able to watch hundreds of shows from anywhere at any time is amazing. Steaming makes the time spent on planes and in airports traveling to clients much more enjoyable!
What are you most passionate about at NEOS?
I am passionate about finding the right solutions for our clients. I enjoy getting to know the clients and developing a complete understanding of not only their problems but their culture and goals. Getting this 360-degree view of the client helps us to develop the right solution to fit the need and solve the problem. We provide provocative solutions that are customized for the client so that even when the engagement ends, they have leverageable solutions and deliverables to use for years to come.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I love to travel, and it’s hard to choose just one, but if I had to choose, I would say Prato, Italy. I spent four months abroad in this small town outside of Florence and the food, history, and culture were fantastic. The people were friendly, and I met some of my best friends to this day on that trip, I can’t wait to go back! Everyone from the states should visit Europe at least once; it’s a life-changing experience!
If you could choose one word to describe the NEOS culture, what would it be, and why? Collaborative. At NEOS, there is always someone willing to partner with you and share their perspective to help solve a problem. We all come from diverse work and life backgrounds, and it helps to get multiple perspectives on an issue to come up with the best solution. When one of us succeeds, we all succeed, so we help and encourage each other personally and professionally.
