Get to know Beth Federici, one of NEOS’ Senior Analysts and her take on #LifeatNEOS

As a Senior Analyst, what is it that you do at NEOS and for our clients?

I work within the Strategy and Operations practice at NEOS conducting in-depth current-state analysis for our clients. My education was in anthropology, so I enjoy diving into a new business culture and figuring out what makes it tick and why people do things the way that they do. I focus on optimizing processes and practices by obtaining a thorough understanding of business drivers and objectives and then deliver recommendations geared towards opportunities for short-, medium-, and long-term solutions.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

If you look back and aren’t at least a little embarrassed or mortified by the person you used to be, then you haven’t grown as a person!

If you could choose one word to describe the culture at NEOS, what would it be, and why?

Energetic. Everyone is always moving, doing project work, spending time with clients, and actively working with and helping each other. It’s just a genuinely enjoyable atmosphere to be a part of.

What is one thing you couldn’t live without?

Soup! It comprises about 40% of my diet (my fiancé says that number is conservative…). I eat it during every season. Or you could say, my fiancé, Jake. He’s pretty indispensable too.

What are you currently reading?

TPS reports! Also, When She Woke by Hillary Jordan. It’s a dystopian novel that resides in the same genre as A Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. I’m a big fan of 1) dystopian novels, and 2) audiobooks!
