Carla Gregory, VP Consulting Operations at NEOS LLC, was named a Finalist in the Women in Business category in the 9th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, and she will ultimately be a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 9. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S.A and several other countries are expected to attend.
More than 1,200 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Women Helping Women and Communications Campaign of the Year.
Carla established, and currently heads, NEOS’s third and newest practice area: Business Consulting. Simultaneously, Carla helped NEOS evolve to support the company’s rapid growing size and client base. As NEOS continued its growth, Carla created formal business processes that established a predictable, consistent business management structure. Carla’s new, adaptive business processes maximized operational efficiency by informing employees of their responsibilities and providing frameworks for them to achieve their objectives. Carla also improved relationships with clients through her ability to explain complex solutions and services in a simplified manner.
“Carla has helped NEOS scale our growth with innovative organizational techniques, high positive energy and superior delivery capability. Her creativity, professionalism and ability to affect positive growth in all aspects of our business have helped NEOS continue to grow aggressively,” said Ernst Renner, CEO and Managing Partner of NEOS. “Everyone at NEOS is extremely proud of Carla, and we congratulate her on this achievement.”
Finalists were chosen by more than 130 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. More than 90 members of the five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.
We’re very excited about this year’s Finalists in the Stevie Awards for Women in Business,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. “The judges have told me that they think this is the best and most inspiring crop of nominees we’ve ever had. We look forward to seeing the judges’ final decisions.”
Renner says, “Carla continues to play a crucial role in the growth of our firm, most notably with the creation and success of our business consulting practice. She continuously motivates and encourages the growth of NEOS, both internally and externally. We wish her the best of luck in the final round of judging.”
Stevie Awards are conferred in four programs: The International Business Awards, The American Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. Honoring organizations of all types and sizes and the people behind them, the Stevies recognize outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide.
