Sales Associate Position Overview

A Sales Associate at NEOS helps achieve our revenue growth targets by generating leads within new accounts that convert to pipeline and ultimately closed deals. He or she focuses on filling the top of the sales funnel with quality leads that progress through the sales cycle. The associate works closely with the managing consultants and principals who carry the leads through to closure, ensuring that our efforts are spent on tactics that yield the highest quality new potential opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads generated by marketing programs, website, and other sources
  • Develop new sales opportunities via self-led outbound efforts
  • Network throughout accounts to uncover potential sales opportunities
  • Fully qualify prospects to understand their organization’s needs, decision-making process, and time frame
  • Effective handoff of all opportunities to NEOS managing consultants and senior principals
  • Provide management with weekly status reports
  • Ensure highest quality client/prospect experience at all times
  • Participate in development and execution of account plans
  • Participate in brainstorming and reporting with NEOS team members on funnel activity
  • Provide feedback to Marketing on efficacy of programs
  • Keep sales database updated and accurate
  • Continually strive to improve sales qualification process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Desire to work for a dynamic organization in high growth mode
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Candidate must be a team player with the skills to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and highly motivated to build sales pipeline that leads to closed revenue
